Features
Ishino Armchair can be made in all fabrics and a variety of leathers – either in combination or entirely in one material. Covers are fitted in order to enhance the soft, casual lines of the upholstery. Any creasing in the upholstery material is intentional and not a quality defect. The base is a plinth made of a derived timber product painted black.
Functionality For a surcharge, the armchair is also available with a swivel function. In this case, the base is a swivel base in matt powder-coated black.
Sustainability
Grand Repos is 75% recyclable when fully separated. Vitra understands the term recyclability to signify only melting down and reuse of raw materials. Polyurethane and wood products, for example, cannot be melted down. However, these materials can be used thermally to generate energy or can be crushed and recycled as materials. Proportion of recycled material: Grand Repos contains 49% recycled material. Using recycled materials conserves valuable resources. With their proportion of recycled material, among other things, Vitra products can contribute to a good rating in certification programs for sustainable buildings (for example LEED). Packaging: Grand Repos will be delivered protected in polyethylene bags (approx. 50% recycled content), packed in a twopart cardboard box.
