JEB Group’s Near-Term and Net-Zero Climate Commitments Approved by SBTi 

[HONG KONG, 12 June 2025] — JEB Group achieves a monumental milestone in its sustainability roadmap, receiving official validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its science-backed greenhouse gas reduction targets. 

Global climate science establishes a clear directive: to mitigate the most severe impacts of climate change, the world must achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions no later than 2050. Recognizing that the corporate sector plays a critical role in this transition, JEB Group is proud to announce that its Near-Term and Net-Zero Targets have been officially validated and approved by SBTi Services. 

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global body enabling businesses to set ambitious emissions reduction targets in line with the latest climate science. By securing this official approval, JEB Group joins an elite group of forward-thinking global organizations dedicated to limiting global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. 

A Metric-Driven Roadmap to Net-Zero 

This landmark approval underscores that JEB Group’s environmental strategy moves far beyond token sustainability gestures. Our commitments are rigorously aligned with the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard, ensuring our carbon reduction roadmap is measurable, transparent, and legally substantiated. 

Our validated targets span across our entire corporate ecosystem, directly impacting how we manufacture, manage supply chains, and deliver products: 

• Scope 1 & 2 Reductions: Actively decreasing direct operational emissions and indirect emissions from purchased electricity across our regional manufacturing facilities and flagship showrooms. 

• Scope 3 Supply Chain Accountability: Working closely with our global supply chain and material partners to lower the embedded carbon within our raw materials and logistics networks.
