JEB Goes the Extra Mile: Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Lap Dog Challenge
[HONG KONG, 8 December 2025] — At JEB, our commitment to excellence extends far beyond our day-to-day projects, it lives in our dedication to supporting the community we call home. We are incredibly proud to announce that the JEB team once again laced up their running shoes to participate in the annual Lap Dog Challenge, which celebrated its landmark 10th anniversary this year.
Organized by the Lighthouse Club Hong Kong, the Lap Dog Challenge is a cornerstone event for the local sector. It unites the industry to raise vital funds for individuals and families facing construction-related hardships, turning collective sweat into meaningful community support.

5 Hours, 353 Laps, One United Team
Representing a diverse cross-section of our departments, five incredible JEB runners took to the 400-meter track with a single goal: to push their limits for a great cause.
Over the course of a grueling 5-hour endurance challenge, our runners displayed phenomenal stamina and spirit, completing an astonishing 353 laps—translating to over 140 kilometers of collective track time! A massive congratulations and thank you to our corporate athletes Rex Lam, Billy Ho, Poko Chan, James Chan, and Joey Ng for their outstanding grit and determination.
Of course, they weren’t out there alone. A vibrant contingent of fellow “JEBBERS” lined the track, providing much-needed energy, loud cheers, and hydration to keep team spirits high from the first lap to the very last.

Running for a Deeper Purpose
This year’s milestone event carried profound weight, with fundraising efforts directed toward four deeply impactful causes:
- The Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po: Providing direct relief to those affected by the recent tragic fire.
- The Lighthouse Club Hong Kong Benevolent Fund: Offering financial aid to construction workers and their families in times of crisis.
- The Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation: Supporting vital research, education, and patient care.
- The Athletic Veterans of Hong Kong: Promoting lifelong health, fitness, and community sports initiatives.
“Events like the Lap Dog Challenge remind us of the power of industry solidarity,” said the JEB Leadership Team. “While we are thrilled by the incredible physical feat of our runners, we are even more humbled by the opportunity to give back. Our deepest thoughts and solidarity remain with the victims and families affected by the tragic fire in Tai Po.”
Thank you to the Lighthouse Club Hong Kong for hosting another spectacular event, to our runners for their inspiring dedication, and to everyone who donated and cheered us on. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more compassionate community.
