By prioritizing refurbishment over replacement, the initiatives prevent high-quality materials from prematurely entering landfills during corporate real estate transitions. 

Key operational strategies highlighted during the exhibition included: 

• Partition Reuse and Relocation: Engineering demountable partition systems that can be seamlessly reconfigured, adapted, and reinstalled as corporate floorplans evolve.

Gamifying Sustainability: The 60-Second Caster Change Challenge

The highlight of the activation was the “60-Second Caster Change Challenge,” alongside a series of custom sustainability-themed industry quizzes. 

The hands-on challenge invited attendees to experience firsthand the mechanics of circular furniture maintenance. The competition drew enthusiastic participation from HSBC executives and corporate occupiers, with the fastest participant successfully completing a professional caster replacement in just 13 seconds. The activity underscored a vital corporate message: sustainable office furniture must be designed for durability, simple repair, and effortless component replacement. 

Collective Industry Action for Greener Workspaces 

The pop-up facilitated critical cross-industry dialogue regarding regional supply chain decarbonization. JEB Group’s participation underscored the necessity of deep B2B collaboration between financial institutions, design manufacturers, and asset management specialists to achieve systemic climate goals.
