JEB Group and CoreNet Global Singapore Host Dynamic Debate on DE&I in the Workplace

[SINGAPORE, 24 June 2025] — The JEB Singapore showroom welcomed over 60 corporate real estate and design professionals for an engaging evening of spontaneous dialogue surrounding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I).
JEB Group had the absolute pleasure of welcoming more than 60 industry professionals to our Singapore showroom for a thought-provoking networking evening hosted in partnership with the CoreNet Global Singapore Chapter.
As a leading global association for corporate real estate, CoreNet Global consistently tackles the critical topics influencing modern business environments. This collaborative event provided an exceptional platform for regional leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and discuss the cultural shifts redefining today’s workspaces.
DE&I Drama: Spontaneous Perspectives on Workplace Equity
The absolute highlight of the evening was a spirited, fast-paced debate titled “DE&I Drama: Who Cares?” The session featured six dynamic industry debaters: Thangaraj Muthu , Fanny Sun, Stephen Fountain, Carlos Venegas, Joshua Ng, and Iman Sim. Each speaker brought invaluable real-world experiences, unique industry perspectives, and bold, challenging questions to the floor.
In an unexpected twist that added immense depth and spontaneity to the proceedings, the debaters were assigned their positions at random, leaving them no choice in which side of the argument to defend. This structural challenge forced participants to view corporate equity through entirely fresh lenses, sparking crucial, meaningful conversations that continued among attendees well after the formal debate concluded.
The evening beautifully reinforced a core principle shared by both JEB Group and CoreNet Global Singapore Chapter: the vital importance of actively fostering inclusive, equitable, and diverse workplaces across the built environment sector.
