Sam has obtained his degree in Business and Management at the University of Chichester in the United Kingdom. With over fourteen years of professional experience in the luxury furniture industry, Sam’s expertise spans across sales management, strategic planning, and implementation. He was previously the Sales Manager for Tom Howley Ltd, United Kingdom’s top bespoke kitchen brand. He was responsible in leading and managing a large team of designers and showroom managers from various backgrounds and experiences into consistent performers to reaching all sales targets.

Sam is a driven individual and an excellent communicator. He believes the key to success in business is never done by one person. It involves teamwork and the ability to work together toward a common goal. His goal at JEB is to develop a strategy that is both successful and scalable for the company and to generate new business opportunities.

As the Head of Marketing at JEB, Angela oversees all global marketing and communications for all divisions including Partitions, Furniture Solutions, and Custom Projects. She leads the marketing team to ensure all activities fulfils the marketing strategy and prospect. Over the past few years at JEB, Angela has led the rebranding project, repositioning JEB’s motives, vision, and voice. She has also organized numerous successful JEB workshops, events, luncheons, educational activities, and parties that contributed to positioning JEB as one of the top leaders in the industry.

Angela grew up and studied industrial design in Colombia. Upon completion of her studies, she started up her own graphic design studio where she worked as a consultant in retail design, branding, market positioning, and design management. Through years of working within the design sector, Angela has developed a deep appreciation for the characteristics of design and brand marketing. 

Prior to joining JEB, she was a Brand Manager for a multinational hotel operator in Colombia. After relocating to Hong Kong in 2013, she joined an international energy efficiency company and was responsible for recreating the brand’s marketing strategies for different countries.

Angela is a design lover that is detailed oriented and very passionate about her work. She is an enthusiast about travel, wellbeing and loves trying new experiences and learning new skill sets. She likes to keep an open mind and explore alternative solutions for various challenges. Her key to success is to be people-oriented and to bring out the full potential of each other. She believes it is essential in building a team that can collaborate effectively through support and encouragement to think outside the box.

Charlie Pearson - JEB Furniture Solutions Sales Director (Singapore)

As the Sales Director for the Furniture division in Singapore, Charlie develops and implements numerous sales strategies to help strengthen the business within the industry. Over the past three years, he has established a broad network of clients, architects, and designers and built long-lasting partners with local and leading European furniture brands. He emphasises on building and training a team with like-minded and hardworking individuals that are committed to working effectively within all departments.

Charlie obtained an honors degree in Music at the University of Leeds and subsequently moved to London upon completion of his studies. During this period, he has gained ten years of professional experience working within various Sales & Technical design-related roles.

In 2014, Charlie joined JEB Furniture Solutions as a Sales Manager working on medium to large scale projects, from commercial office to hospitality in Hong Kong. His proven ability and achievements have led him to his current role as the Sales Director of the newly formed Furniture division in Singapore. Over the past three years, the team has accomplished project milestones and achievements against formidable competitors within the industry. They have tripled in size and succeeded in exclusively partnering with two of Europe’s largest furniture manufacturers and created a joint showroom venture, which is proving to be highly successful.

Charlie is a creative, outgoing, charismatic and hardworking individual that strives for success no matter the odds. He has a natural ability to work in teams and tries to see the best in people and situations, regardless of background or circumstance. His powerful business mindset has made him a great problem solver through projects and live scenarios. “One of my key focal points for our business is to communicate effectively and consistently delivering exceptional services to all our clients. I believe that a big part of this positive mindset lends itself to achieving a healthy way of living and wellbeing.” Charlie expresses.

He supervises and supports the team in Beijing through sales force training and activities to achieve their targeted goals.

Maurice obtained a master degree in Economy and Real Estate. Upon completion of his studies, he worked as a Senior Analyst at Cushman/DTZ and also worked as Director at Matsu Office Furniture in Beijing, China. Maurice’s expertise spans across business development, marketing, sales and project management. With over fifteen years of experience in China, Maurice has gained exceptional knowledge in the partitions and furniture industry. His proven ability, strong leadership skills, and achievements have led him to his current position as the General Manager at JEB Beijing.

Maurice is a self-driven individual that has an outgoing personality and a positive attitude. He is an enthusiastic team player that works hard and aims high. The support he receives from his amazing family (his wife and two children) and his positive mindset are his keys to success. As the Technical Director at JEB Furniture Solutions, Craig works closely with suppliers in the project management process and supports the sales team on a daily basis. Prior to his current position, he has worked as a Project Manager, Operations Manager and General Manager at JEB Furniture Solutions (previously known as BW Ltd). His comprehensive understanding of the industry and extensive experience in furniture manufacturing and product design experience has led him to his current position at JEB.

Craig has obtained his engineering degree at the University of Natal in South Africa. Before moving to Hong Kong, he has worked predominantly as a Design and Production Engineer in South Africa, accumulating experience in manufacturing and product design. 

Over the last ten years, he has held different positions in sales and operations. Before returning to JEB, Craig took a break from the corporate world and began his endeavors in coaching and personal fitness. He is intrigued that working demands can effect peoples’ general health and fitness, and contrarily improving physical health and wellbeing can increase work performance.

Craig is an energetic and hardworking individual that is well organized and detail-oriented. His key to success is keeping a healthy body and mindset, which keeps him focused at work. His goal at JEB is to help improve team efficiency within the Operations team and to provide more technical support to the Sales Team and Project Managers.

He manages and supports the team in Australia to achieve their sales objectives and targeted goals.

Charles obtained a Master of Architecture degree at the University of New South Wales in Australia. Upon completion of his studies, he started his career in architecture, working for one of the top firms in Sydney. Whilst working as an architect, he also obtained a degree in Building & Construction, in which he gained a better insight into the architecture and construction industry. 

Charles always had a keen interest and appreciation in construction, which led him to another career path. He worked for a construction company where he was responsible for delivering projects and commercial and residential development. With over ten years of experience in both design and construction, Charles has gained exceptional knowledge of the industry. His strong management experience and achievements have led him to his current position as the General Manager at JEB Australia.

Charles is reliable and is an enthusiastic team player that is skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders. He is very detail-oriented, has a strong work ethic and is a great problem solver. He believes the key to success is to be persistent and to work hard. Apple Lui, a Business Development Manager at JEB, has expertise in implementing strategic business plans for expanding to new markets and initiating marketing strategies to raise brand awareness.

She has a diverse and international schooling background in both the United States and Hong Kong. Apple started as an interior designer in residential and workplace design, where her natural ability and interest in communication and relational skills flourished.

In her next role at a premium ergonomics office brand, she was tasked with facilitating communication between managers in the APAC and Middle East regions with the factories and dealers in China, Europe, and the United States. She furthered her mastery of communication and customer service skills over her four and a half years in her diverse and international a sales support role there.

Expanding and challenging herself, she moved internally to a client-facing position where she delivered well-being training for the architecture and design industry, utilizing her company’s ergonomic products and tools. Working with high-end international corporations, her professional and interpersonal skills were refined even further. She pushed these skills even further in the events industry and will now be invaluable to us as a Business Development Manager as we grow and expand our high-end products across international industries.

Nicholas has more than fourteen years of professional experience and has been educated hands-on in all areas of development and construction, from inception to delivery. He has particular expertise in medium to large scale projects ranging from residential apartments, retail developments, and commercial office buildings to workplace fit-outs and refurbishments.

Nicholas is a keen problem solver and an excellent communicator. He is particularly skilled in trouble-shooting projects and promptly identifying “roadblock” issues and corresponding solutions. He has considerable commercial management experience and is able to quickly review contracts and focus in on matters that present a risk to our clients.

A sustainability champion, Nicholas has experience in developing and implementing structural changes to move towards sustainable development and has delivered one of the first 6-Star Green Star building in Queensland, Australia.

Kicki Chung has been with JEB for over thirteen years, starting from a Sales and Marketing role to General Manager and now to Managing Director. Her honed experience in the interiors and construction industry is remarkable.

Her experience spans across distribution management, strategic marketing planning and implementation, brand development, and customer relationship management. Coordinating multiple projects and maintaining client relationships also come to her like second nature. 

Prior to joining JEB in 2004, she held three positions within the building industry at international businesses in Asia and Australia, where she excelled at liaising with overseas suppliers, developing B2B relationships and business development. Her diverse capabilities make her a testament of JEB's talents.
