Marketing Manager (Shanghai)

The Marketing Manager position is responsible for a wide array of business functions including branding, showroom and events management, communication channels, and online and offline promotions. Job duties include but are not limited to:


Your Role

  • Work closely with the Head of Marketing to define and implement brand building / marketing plans, campaigns and initiatives to build excellent brand image through strategic and distinctive communication programs in China

  • Creating and implementing of JEB marketing strategy in alignment with global marketing guidelines, brand strategy and market research

  • Work with Head of Marketing to devise monthly and annual marketing plans with budget control. Design, lead and monitor the development of marketing campaigns (online and offline)

  • Responsible for different aspects of marketing activities, including: meeting deadlines, campaign monitoring and optimization, measure and report on success of marketing campaign effectiveness and report on all marketing activity results to achieve optimal effectiveness

  • Responsible for marketing budget allocation and controlling 

  • Analyse current market conditions and competitor information, business trends and consumer insights to deliver sales and market share targets

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to drive opportunity and business growth in China                                                              

  • Monitors competitor products and marketing activities

  • Synchronize with the local sales teams to align and initiate all marketing activities

  • Oversee production of high standard materials for the sales

  • Plan, design, coordinate and execute sales & marketing activities such as product promotions, new product launch, events and exhibitions

  • Implement PR and Brand activities including press conferences, blogger outreach, events, speaker opportunities and any other initiatives

  • Maintain sample and library organised; keep all inventory (sample sheets, catalogues, finish samples, accessories

  • etc)  levels current and order samples when needed

  • Keep the teams update with any news about the company, library, server or information about product/brands.

  • Handle any ad-hoc projects


What You Should Have 

  • Degree preferable in marketing, design and/or communications 

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience (B2B marketing professionals preferred)

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to work with various internal and external teams

  • A creative thinker and problem-solver

  • Ability to work under pressure and operate with a “start-up” mindset - meet deadlines and tackle multiple tasks at one time

  • Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively with overseas team members

  • Proficiency in Social Media Platforms is a must
