Operations Manager / Operations Supervisor

Job Description

What the Job Involves

  • Being in charge of full spectrum of logistics operations including order processing, import/export shipments, and performing punctual and accurate warehousing and transport management 
  • Handling full set of I/E documents of courier and shipment, customs declaration and LC documents
  • Leading the team to conduct smooth daily operation (e.g. receiving, storage and claims) and meet the agreed timeline
  • Liaising with external parties such as suppliers, freight forwarders and customers from goods production to delivery
  • Coordinating and working closely with all functional teams to drive business results
  • Supervising team members to achieve the KPIs from customers
  • Preparing monthly shipping reports and other related reports
  • Other ad-hoc projects

Required Skills

  • Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience in freight forwarder/logistics industry with at least 2 years managerial level
  • Knowledge of furniture business with warehouse and inventory management silks is an advantage
  • Strong MS Office Skills (Excel and Word)
  • Familiar with Inventory Control and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of China and overseas import/export procedure and custom declaration regulations is an advantage
  • Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese, Mandarin is an advantage
  • Strong leadership, organisational ability, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Immediate availability highly preferred
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Operations Supervisor
