We will be regularly featuring some of the very talented minds we collaborate with – both their inspirations and their quirky sides. Let’s hear from Ellen the Practise Director of Siren Design as she shares a piece of her world with us.

Q: What is your favourite project to date?

A: ING bank- terrific client and project team- and I got to meet and work with one of my favourite artists- Ernest Zacharevic. Super cool! 😊

Q: What would your dream project be?

A: A Pilot/ Living Lab Workspace- Permission to try, create, learn, fail, evolve & grow together.

Q: Bold Hues or Subtle Neutrals?

A: Bold Hues- when I crossed over from architecture 7 years ago -my wardrobe broke out in a rash of colours- never looked back! 😉

Q: What is your spirit animal?

A: Mohammad Ali- floats like a butterfly, stings like a bee.

Seal- swims/plays/ curious/ eats all day/ packs on calories in the trunk…

Q: What is your favourite vacation spot?

A: Somewhere between East & North Iceland- we drove through a mountain pass in a blizzard, encountered migrating reindeers, where the sky and land had merged into continuous whiteness. Kamchatka, Yukon & Alaska are next- anywhere remote, rugged, wild and freezing.

Q: Are you a coffee or a tea person?

A: COFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEECOFFEE
